Bali to Belanda and Back Again on Garuda -6 Times a Week
Garuda Now Flies 6 Times a Week Bali-Medan-Amsterdam
Garuda Indonesia Airlines, effective October 1, 2019, began flying a new route Denpasar – Medan – Amsterdam using Airbus A330-200 aircraft configured to fly 186 economy and 36 business class passengers,
The new route operates 6 times each week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and will allow Bali and Medan passengers better connectivity to Amsterdam's Schiphol airport.
Passengers holding bookings on the now discontinued Jakarta – Amsterdam flight will now be flown by Garuda on a domestic connection between Jakarta to Medan where they will board the international flight to Holland. Passengers holding ticket on the return leg will be transferred to a connecting flight Medan - Jakarta.
Garuda hopes that the new service will persuade international travelers to visit and explore North Sumatra as part of a journey between Bali and Amsterdam. Meanwhile, passengers from Australia and Europe will be able to utilize Denpasar as an air hub whilst traveling between the antipodes and Western Europe and the U.K.
The flight designation for the Garuda flight Denpasar – Medan – Amsterdam is GA 088 leaving Denpasar at 8:35 pm local time arriving in Medan at 11:15 pm local time.
