Samarinda to Bali - Direct Connection on Batik Air
The Jakarta Globe reports that Batik Air – the full-service subsidiary of the Lion Air Group, has launched two new domestic air routes connecting Bali and Samarinda in East Kalimantan and Samarinda with Yogyakarta, Central Java.
The Samarinda to Yogyakarta flight that will land at the brand new Kulon Progo Yogyakarta International Airport will be the exclusive service of Batik Air with no other carrier connecting the two cities.
The Batik Air ID-6647 flight leaves Aji Pangeran Tumenggung Pronoto Samarinda International Airport (APT) at 9:00 am landing at Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport at 10:45am. The return leg from on Batik Air ID-6646 leaves Denpasar at 3:10 pm landing in Samarinda at 4:40 pm.
Samarinda to Yogyakarta on Batik Air ID-6693 departs at 5:20 pm arriving in Yogyakarta at 6:00 pm and the return leg on Batik Air ID 6692 leaves Yogyakarta at 6:00 am landing in Samarinda at 8:45 am.

The services are being operated with Airbus A-320 aircraft configured for 12 business seats and 144 economy seats.
Flights from Bali and Yogyakarta to Samarinda can connect to other Batik Air flights to Berau, Tarakan and Makassar.
