5-Hectare Bloom Garden to Open in June 2019 at Lake Beratan in Bali’s Mountain Highlands

The Bloom Garden – a tourist destination at Lake Beratan in the Village of Batusesa in Tabanan is scheduled for a “soft opening” in June 2019 and targeted to eventually attract 250,000 tourists each year.

NusaBali visited the soon-to-be-opened attraction on Thursday, May 30, 2019, and saw intensive planting of floral blooms underway for the fast-approaching opening.  Covering a total area of 5-hectares, The Bloom Garden features 10 main floral blooms supplemented by a coffee shop, locations for “selfie” photography, and a working coffee farm.

The Manager of the Ulun Danu Beratan Tourist Complex, I Wayan Mustika, reports that The Bloom Garden is 80% ready for operations. The remaining elements yet to be completed include a green house, restaurant, and a few remaining gardens.

The soft-opening of The Bloom Garden is set for June 17, 2019.

The cost of admission tickets is still under discussion.

In order to attract the targeted 250,000 annual visitors, The Bloom Garden will also create special features including jungle tracking, cycling, and ATV trips in the jungle, a jungle swing, and some spiritual-meditative sites.

The Bloom Garden will add 35 paid positions to the total payroll of the Ulun Danau Beratan Tourism Complex.
