India Beckons Indonesian Travelers

Indonesian Tourists Now Welcome to Visit India for 30-Days Visa-Free
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi used the occasion of his recent visit to Indonesia to announce that Indonesian nationals can visit India visa-free for 30 days.

Kompas.com reports that the Prime Minister’s announcement was revealed during a meeting in Jakarta speaking beore the Indian Diaspora on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.

Prime Minister Modi statement that Indonesians would not receive free 30-day visas for visits to India received strong applause from the appreciative audience.

On the same occasion, Modi invited the Indians living abroad in places like Indonesia to return to their homeland to see the “New India.” Modi also invited Indonesians to visit India and witness first-hand its many cultures.

As part of the “New India” campaign and target for great advancement in the quality of life for all Indians by 2022 when the Indian Nation will celebrate its 75th anniversary. The Prime Minister lauded the many improvements already introduced to make doing business in India easier and the daily life of Indian’s less complicated. In the past 2.5 years, India has registered more than 9.000 start-ups.
