Paying for our services
Because the Indonesian Rupiah is technically a
"non-exportable" currency. meaning it
is difficult if not impossible to buy and sell
Rupiah's outside of Indonesian, our prices for
travel products are listed in United States Dollars.
When paying for a travel product purchased over
www.balidiscovery.com you have several options:
By transferring U.S. dollars to our
bank account. Complete transfer information including
SWIFT codes are listed on the formal invoice/proof
of purchasewhich we will transmit once a purchase
is concluded.
Paying by credit Card
Bali Discovery Tours and www.balidiscovery.com
accept most major credit cards. Please note, however,
that because of regulations by the Government
of Indonesia we are only allowed to transact charges
in Indonesian Rupiahs. This is done at the prevailing
exchange rate on the date of the actual transaction.
The final amount in your home currency on your
credit card statement may vary - positively or
negatively - from the stated amount on our invoice
depending on the exchange rates used by your credit
card provider.
When paying by credit card we will send you a
credit card authorization form asking for regarding
your credit card and your personal billing information.
We also ask for photocopies of the identity page
of your passport and both sides of the credit
card you wish to be charged for the transaction.This
information is kept in a secure lock-up at our
office should any question arise as to customer
authorization of charges. Our credit card authorization
form summarizes this information, stipulates the
amount to be charged, and also carries the customer
signature.
Please note that Bali Discovery Tours is one of
the very few licensed travel agents in authorized
to transaction payments with the signature on
file system. We have been given this facility
because of our long history of clean transactions
with our customers and our immediate and positive
response when, in rare cases, there are questions
on any charges.
We strongly recommend that this information be
sent by facsimile through our secured fax facility
rather than over the more open Internet system.
We appreciate this may represent something of
an inconvenience but assure all steps have been
put in place between the bank and our company
precisely to protect and secure you from fraudulent
use of your card.
