On an island where every craftsman is an artist and his handywork are seen as offerings to the Gods - Bali's architecture, from temples to modern hotels - all bear closer examination. Bali's well-planned campus of government offices, built in a neo-Bali architectural style, sits next to the bustling and vibrant business district of the island's main city. Visit the morning market, which most locals still prefer over the local supermarkets. The Denpasar Museum sits on the edge of Puputan Square and houses a collection dating from prehistoric times (closed on Mondays). Also included is a visit to the Art Center with its fine collection of local handicrafts and paintings. The tours also include a visit to a local Batik Home Industry centre to see the intricate wax dying methods used to produce these world famous Indonesian fabrics.
Approximately length of this tour is 6 hours.
