Bali has been described as "one big sculpture". Verdant terraces, sculptured a thousand years ago, are still planted, and lovingly cared for by hand. Join us to see Bali's living rice basket. Rice fields are exquisitely carved out of hills and valleys, sparkling with water or the bright green of a promised rice harvest.
Bali's temples are a ubiquitous sight on the island: there are at least 20,000 temples in Bali - small and big, old and new, family temples, farmer temples, village temples, and Royal temples.
Also of interest is the Balinese family compound. Each compound consists of a few small "buildings", whose position, size and even those entitled to their use all laid down by time-honored tradition.
This tour will also go to Sebatu, site of a holy spring temple with picturesque rice-fields along the way in Tegalalang and Singapadu.
Approximately length of this tour is 5 hours.
