Full Moon Temple Offering Tour

Another Bali Discovery Tour exclusive! "Purnama" -the passing of each full moon carries with it the religious requirement for elaborate ritual offerings to be celebrated at family and community temples. Be welcome guests at moon-lit temple celebrations at various village temples across the island. Each "Purnama" sees long parades of Balinese women, dressed in bright traditional costumes carrying elaborate offerings of fruits and foodstuffs on towers above their heads to the local temple. Fortunately, the Balinese have never objected to sharing their rich Hindu traditions with respectful visitors.

Our "Full Moon Temple Offering" places you in the hands of a local driver and a Bali Discovery Guide who will act as your personal valets to see that you are properly dressed in a traditional Balinese costume.
Then, it's off to dinner at a local restaurant before spending the remainder of the evening traveling throughout the Ubud area visiting temples to witness the colorful activities of Bulan Purnama - the Balinese marking of the full moon.
