5,600 Bali Airport Workers Now Immunized

Bali Airport Workers Vaccinated Against COVID-19

5,600 workers at Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport underwent immunization against COVID-19 with Sinovac over five days 22-26 March 2021.

As reported by Beritabali.com, those vaccinated were employees of 26 companies operating from Bali’s sole airport.

Herry A.Y. Sikado, general manager of PT Angkasa Pura I – the Bali airport authority, said: “The COVID-19 pandemic continues to plague Indonesia. This prompts our commitment to vaccinate all workers at the Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, totaling 5,600 people based on the data provided by each company (operating from the airport).”

The vaccination program was initiated by the Airport Authority for District IV and undertaken by Denpasar’s Class I Port Health Authority, preceded by a technical planning meeting.

The Bali branch of PT Angkasa Pura I at the Ngurah Rai International Airport fully supports the inoculation program performed in the International Terminal using supporting personnel to facilitate a smooth immunization program following all health protocols in the process.

The vaccinations were carried out on each of the five days from 8:00 am until 5:30 pm administered in stages to ensure physical distancing could be maintained across the entire five days through 25 March 2021.
