Bali: Minimum Wage Levels for 2026

The Provincial Government of Bali has set minimum wage levels, including sectoral minimum wages, for Denpasar and the Island’s Regencies for 2026 via the Manpower Department Announcement Number B.21.500.15/17641/IV.DISNAKER.EDSM and Gubernatorial Decree Number 1021/03-M/HK.2925, issued on 23 December 2025.

In the Manpower Department Announcement, the minimum wage (UMK) levels for  2026 was set at:

  • Rp, 3,791,002.57 per month for Badung Regency
  • Rp. 3,499,878.78 per month for the City of Denpasar
  • Rp. 3,316,798.48 per month for Gianyar Regency
  • Rp, 3,287,678.87 per month for Tabanan Regency

The Province of Bali has also set minimum wage levels for 2026 for five- and 4-star accommodation and food and beverage workers (UMSK) in Bandung Regency at Rp. 3,838,912.60 per month. Meanwhile, the City of Denpasar and the Regencies of Gianyar and Tabanan will not set a sectorized minimum wage but will apply the generalized minimum wage (UMK) for 2026.

The Regencies of Bangli, Buleleng, Jembrana, Karangasem, and Klungkung will apply the generalized minimum wage (UMK) and minimum sectoral wage for 2026.

New rates for the UMK and UMSK for 2026 will take effect from 01 January 2026.

The Provincial Government of Bali says it hopes all employers on the Island will apply the newly established minimum wage levels to achieve harmonious and just relationships with the Island’s workforce.

The lowest minimum wage level for Rp. 3,207,458.00 per month represents a 7.04% increase over 2025. Meanwhile, the increase for those working in 4 and 5-star restaurants and accommodation providers is equivalent to a 7.04% increase when compared to last year.
