Bali Named Asia’s Top Wedding Destination in World Travel Awards 2025

TEMPO.CO reports that Bali was selected as the Destination in the World Travel Awards 2025 on Monday, 13 October 2025, as “Asia’s Leading Wedding Destination.”

Bali defeated earthquake-battered Cebu, Philippines; Koh Samui (Thailand); and Langkawi (Malaysia), all vying for this honor, which Bali had claimed consecutively from 2019 to 2023.

The award underlined Bali’s well-established reputation for natural beauty, spirituality, and intriguing cultural values that have proven a winning combination for prospective newlyweds seeking “the ideal” wedding and honeymoon destination. Bali offers idyllic beach vistas, secluded botanical gardens, and ancient temple courtyards for those in search of venues to say “please marry me” or a subsequent “I do.”

Bali now has an almost endless choice of professional wedding planners, dedicated wedding chapels, and enticing venues for aspiring newlyweds.
