Traffic volume, both domestic and international passenger totals and flight movements, continues to grow at Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport.

NusaBali.com reports that international flight movements (arrival and departures) now number 149 over the first nine days of April 2022. Taufan Yudhistira, Stakeholder Manager for PT Angkasa Pura I (PT PAP-1) at Bali’s Airport, said that on Sunday, 10 April 2022, for the period 01 until 09 April, the airport welcomed 73 international flights and saw 76 international flights depart, equating in all to 149 flights.

Taufan said that the highest number of flights took place on 08 April 2022, when 24 flights operated to and from Bali, with 13 flights landing and 11 flights taking off.

The subject flight movements carried 15,659 international arriving passengers and 8,608 departing international passengers during the same period, which equates to 24,267 international flight passengers. The highest number of international passengers arrivals occurred on 08 April 2022, totaling 2,667, with the largest number of international departures on 03 April 2022, when 1,169 departed.

Airport officials predict that the number of international arriving and departing passengers will increase due to the growing list of airlines and flight frequencies operating to and from Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport.
