Hilton International has entered into a management agreement to open a Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Nusa Dua, Bali, scheduled to be operational in late 2027.
The Waldorf Astoria Bali is being developed under a partnership agreement with Hilton to be established in the Nusa Dua area of Bali, Indonesia. The development is in partnership with Indonesian property developer PT Balibuana Perkasa.
The new hotel will be added to a list of 16 hotels currently operated nationwide by Hilton and their newest Indonesian property in the pipeline.
The Waldorf Astoria Bali will be situated on the shoreline of Sawangan Beach, west of the BTDC Hotel Complex. The plans for the resort feature 71 villas and 68 guest suites – all with commanding views of the Indian Ocean. The Waldorf Astoria property will feature at least three dining options: a beach club, the Peacock Alley Restaurant, and The Ledge by Dave Pynt – famed for its menu of open-flame cooking.
The resort’s wellness facilities include a spa, fitness center, and swimming pools.
The meeting and event market segment at the Waldorf Astoria Bali will provide 748 square meters of space, including a 465-square-meter ballroom and a chapel.
The resort is located 14.5 kilometers from Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport and is conveniently close to attractions such as Geger Beach and the limestone cliff fronts of Ungasan and Uluwatu.
This development represents part of Hilton’s strategy to increase its luxury hotel presence in the Asia Pacific region. The company has more than 1,000 luxury and lifestyle hotels globally, with an additional 500 in development. Hilton is seeking to open additional Waldorf Astoria properties in cities such as Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, Shanghai, Tokyo, Xi’an, and Hanoi over the next two years.
The Waldorf Astoria Bali will join Hilton’s existing collection of luxury brands in Bali, which includes Conrad Hotels & Resorts and LXR Hotels & Resorts.
