Bali’s Sanglah General Hospital enacted an emergency drill simulation in cooperation with Provincial Search and Rescue workers on Tuesday, July 15, 2014.
Metrobali.com quotes I Made Udayana, chief of education and training for nursing at the hospital, saying: “This is only a simulation fir handling patients in an emergency when urgent medical care is needed."
The simulation also involved one helicopter from Bali’s Search and Rescue Agency (SAR) that circled above the hospital, testing traveling times from Uluwatu in South Bali to the emergency care unit.
“We are always ready to serve patients coming to us by road or by air,” explained Udayana.
