With a Song in Their Hearts for Bali

Yale Whiffenpoofs Return to Bali to Performn At The Laguna Resort and St. Regis Resort Bali on August 3 & 4, 2013.

On their third triumphant return to Bali, the Yale University Whiffenpoofs return to Bali for a two-day-only charitable event at The Laguna a Luxury Collection Resort and Spa in Nusa Dua on Saturday, August 3 and at The St. Regis Resort Bali on Sunday, August 4, 2013.

Now in its 104th year, the Whiffenpoofs are comprised entirely of seniors from Yale University who, before they disband and make room for the next crop of Senior singers, perform a final round-the-world tour singing for appreciative international crowds and raising money for worthwhile causes.
Arguably one of the best a capella male choirs in the world, the Whiffenpoofs have appeared in numerous feature films and TV programs and performed at Lincoln Center, The White House, Salt Lake Tabernacle, Oakland Coliseum, Carnegie Hall and the Rose Bowl.

The Bali stop on the 2013 Whiffenpoof word tour will include:
  • A special charity concert performance in the Balai Raya Ballroom of The Lagua Resort on Saturday, August 3, 2013. The group will perform two sets concluding with a VIP dinner reception attended by the performers at the Banyubiru lagoon-side restaurant.
  • A gala brunch-time appearance on Sunday, August 5th at the Boneka Restaurant of the St. Regis Bali Resort.
Part of a share long-standing cooperation between The Whiffenpoofs and Starwood Hotels and Resorts that has helped raised almost $8.5 million for the UNICEF Check Out for Children Challenge.
The Saturday event at The Laguna Resort begins at 6: 30 pm and runs until 8:30 pm.
Ticket prices for the performance only are Rp. 100,000 net each (US$10) or Rp. 499,000 net (US$50) for the perferred seating at the performance, cocktails at the Bali Ulu, and a post conference buffet dinner at the Banyubiru Restaurant – excluding beverages.
