Three Public Debates Scheduled Between Candidates Running for Bali’s Governor in 2018
NusaBali reports that the Public Election Commission (KPU) will organize public debates between the candidates for Governor and Deputy-Governor in the 2018 elections.

The Gubernatorial elections are scheduled to be held on Friday, June 22, 2018. 
The Provincial KPU has conducted a bidding process for an Event Organizer (EO) to conduct the debates and is coordinating the police to ensure a safe and peaceful public debate process.
The planned debates will take place between the tickets of Wayan Koster – Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati (KBS-ACE) and Ida Bagus Rai Dharmawijaya Mantra – I Ketut Sudirkerta (Mantra-Kerta).
The KBS-ACE ticket is supported by the PDIP, PAN, Hanura, PKPI, PKB and PPP political parties while the Mantra-Kerta ticket is supported by the Golkar Party, Demokrat Party, Gerinda, NasDem, PKS, and PBB. 
The three debates will be televised live in Bali. 
The man in charge of KPU Bali on a day-to-day basis, I Wayan Jondra, announced on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, the three debates will be held on April 28th, May 26th and June 22nd in the run-up to the election. 
Three hotels have been selected as venues for the debates: The Trans Hotel in Kuta, Hotel Good Day in Nusa Dua, and the Inna Grand Bali Beach in Sanur. The debates will be broadcast by TVOne, INews and TVRI. 
Technical details, including the selection of panelists for the debates and determining the maximum number of audience members allowed to attend each debate, are now under review.
