TRANSNUSA continues spreading its wings internationally by becoming the first Indonesian Airline to fly from Bali to Guangzhou, China. The inaugural flight occurred when TransNusa 8B 969 left Bali on 13 April and arrived at 20:15 at the Guangzhouiyun International Airport, as scheduled at 01.00 April 14.
Part of an international expansion of the TransNusa route network, the new China-bound flight was launched shortly after the launch of the Airline’s Bali-Perth route on 20 March 2025.
Marking the occasion of the launch of the PRC service, TransNusa’s CEO, Datuk Bernard Francis, said: “Our main priority and focus is to create new exciting routes for our passengers and offer seamless and fast travel, whether through direct routes or transit routes.”
The new Bali-Guangzhou is offered at an introductory promotional rate of Rp. 2.388.000 or US$149.
During the initial stage, until 31 May, TransNusa will operate the new PRC service four times a week. TransNusa Flight 8B 969 departs Bali at 20.15 and arrives in Guangzhou at 01.00, while TransNusa 8B 968 departs Guangzhou at 02.05, arriving in Bali at 07.40.

The TransNusa flights will depart Bali every Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, while flights will depart Guangzhou on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. The flights will be flown by Airbus A320 Equipment, which is configured to carry 174 passengers on a five-hour long flight.
Datuk Francis said plans are to increase the flight frequency from four times a week to daily flights after 01 June 2025.
TransNusa currently flies from Jakarta to Yogyakarta, Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Subang, Malaysia, and Guangzhou, China. The Airline also flies domestically from Bali to Jakarta and Manado.
