Presented by Altino Brothers LLC and J&R Foundation, a historical concert showcasing seven prodigiously talented pianists—“The 7 Pianists” — on Sunday, 2 November 2025 at 7:30 PM at Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at the internationally incomparable Carnegie Hall.

Seven international pianists representing the worlds of jazz and classical music will come together to perform as soloists, duets, and septets.

JOEY ALEXANDER

Born in Bali, Indonesia, in 2003, this Grammy Award-winning musician became the first Indonesian musician to perform and be nominated for a Grammy Award when he was only 13. His initial musical foray landed on the Billboard 200 when his album My Favorite Things debuted at 174, later peaking at 59.
Mentored initially by his musically gifted father, Denny Sila, Joey preceded his Grammy Award recognition by, at the age of 9, winning the Grand Prix at the 2013 Master-Jam Fest in Ukraine.
Now, at 22, Joey has traveled the world, winning numerous awards and recording seven notable albums.
NATALIE TENENBAUM
Natalie Tenenbaum is a composer, pianist, music producer/director, and singer-songwriter, equally recognized on the stages of Carnegie Hall and Broadway. A graduate of The Juilliard, Tenenbaum has broken down boundaries between classical composition, popular storytelling, and improvisational jazz to create acoustic and electro-acoustic concert music for a wide range of ensembles, soloists, organizations, and artistic disciplines.

Based in New York, Tenenbaum has appeared with orchestras in Israel, Europe, Asia and the U.S., premiering her own compositions and real-time composition/improvisations in concert venues that include The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden, The Apollo Theater, Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Blue Note, The National Arts Gallery (NY), Harvard University, Austin’s SXSW, Jerusalem Music Center, Berlin’s Konzerthaus, Korea’s National Theater, and the Monk to Bach jazz club in Seoul, among many others.
Tenenbaum created arrangements and orchestrations for Lang Lang’s album release with London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
NERVA ALTINO & ROBENSON ALTINO
Altino Brothers – Nerva and Robenson Altino – are distinguished and highly accomplished musicians with over 16 years of professional experience. The brothers attended the Manhattan School of Music, where they obtained Master’s Degrees in Piano Performance, and Atlantic Union College, where they obtained Bachelor’s Degrees in Music.
The Brother’s father was an amateur pianist and teacher. The Altino Brothers’ mother suggested her sons combine forces. In 2001, Nerva and Robnson took their mother’s advice and were featured in several magazines and television shows, including the Today Show, and performed at Carnegie Hall. In the coming years, they are expanding their brand internationally by exploring the European market and ultimately taking on adjunct professor roles at a local college.

ASSEL JEAN-PIERRE JR
Assel Jean-Pierre Jr is a Haitian-American New York native who has been playing piano since the age of 3 under the training of his father, Assel Jean-Pierre Sr. He has a Bachelor’s in Classical Piano performance, under the tutelage of Laurent Boukobza, and a Master’s of Arts in Jazz and Composition, both from the University of Central Florida (UCF).
Assel is also a piano teacher. He teaches styles such as Classical Piano, Jazz, and Gospel, as well as ear-training. He is also an audio engineer, producer, and songwriter for JPSonic Studios. 
VALENTINA LISTSA
Born in 1973, Valentina Yevhenivna Lisitsa is a classical concert pianist. Controversial by nature, the Toronto Symphony canceled her 2015 engagements because of her social media postings supporting pro-Russian separatists during the Russo-Ukrainian War.

Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, she began playing the piano at age three and gave her first solo recital at age four. She is of Russian and Polish descent on her mother’s side, while her father is of Ukrainian heritage.
Lisitsa attended the Lysenko Music School and, later, the Kyiv Conservatory, where she studied under Dr. Ludmilla Tsvierko. In 1991, she won first prize in the Murray Dranoff Two Piano Competition in Miami, Florida. That same year, she moved to the United States. Her New York debut was at the Mostly Mozart Festival at Lincoln Center in 1995.
In 2010, Lisitsa put their life savings into recording a CD of Rachmaninoff Concertos with the London Symphony Orchestra. Lisitsa signed a three-year contract with French record label Naïve in 2021.

JIMIN PARK
Jimindorothy (Jimin Park) is a jazz pianist and composer. She received a full scholarship from the Berkeley College of Music in Boston. She completed her undergraduate degree in Performance, winning 2nd place in the ‘World Championship Old-Time Piano Playing Contest’ hosted in Mississippi in 2017.
She has returned to South Korea and continues her work by creating jazz piano content. In 2021, she published a book, “30 Days, My New Pastime: Jazz Piano. “More Information and Online tickets for the 02 November “The 7 Pianist” Concert at the Carnegie Hall.
