DCL was linked to the illegal use of his tourist visa when officials traced the man’s Australian telephone number posted in connection with properties for sale in the Karangasem region.

Hendra Setiawan said the DCL’s activities in Bali were not in keeping with his visa and are considered detrimental to the Island’s tourism, the Balinese economy, and public order.

Hendra added that his office remains committed to enforcing the law against foreigners who misuse their visas and stay permits in Indonesia.
