Bali Hai Cruises Invests in the Future

Founded in 1990 and now with more than 35 years of experience as Bali’s undisputed leading marine tour operator, Bali Hai Cruises has embarked on 2025 and beyond by undertaking major upgrades across its extensive fleet of vessels and shore-based resort facilities.

Bali Hai II

Reflecting Bali Hai Cruises’ long-held corporate vision and unwavering commitment to safety, sustainability, and providing visitors with a world-class guest experience, the year-long program of significant developments and improvements will result in enhancements that will further elevate an already superlative reputation for style and service.

All Bali Hai Vessels undergo an exacting, rigorous annual docking process that tip-to-tail ensures all mechanical, engineering, and all existing sophisticated navigation and electronic equipment either qualify for recertification or, if needed, are replaced. Annual dockings also follow strict international maritime regulations that ensure safety and seaworthiness remain paramount considerations before a vessel is allowed to set sail again after docking. Meanwhile, all passenger contact areas are renewed and refurbished, resulting in a “like-new” appearance once the annual overhaul is done.

Sail Sensations Gets a Fresh New Look

Bali Hai Cruises’ popular 27-meter-long sailing catamaran, Sail Sensation, is sure to prove popular with its already large base of day cruisers. The sailing yacht now features a new-look ambience that captures the azure brilliance of the surrounding seas. A complete refurbishment of the “Sailsensations” includes a completely refreshed interior with natural teak accents and plush, earthy finishes.

New Custom Snorkeling Pontoon for Nusa Lembongan

To enhance the already popular Castaway Escape Cruise, Bali Hai Cruises has built a custom-made snorkeling pontoon, now operating daily at Nusa Lembongan. Meanwhile, the pre-existing main pontoon has received extensive upgrades.

Hai Tide Beach Resort: A New Era Unfolds

On land, the Hai Tide Beach Resort on Nusa Lembongan is also undergoing a major transformation.

Inspired by the areas’ unique elevated rice barns, the Resort’s Garden Lumbungs are being upgraded to become larger, family-sized accommodation units, offering more space and improved amenities for families and small groups.

Also at the beach resort, a brand-new Dive Shop is currently under construction, featuring:

  • An information center
  • A Coral Restoration Hub
  • Opening soon – a coffee shop and bakery

Bali Hai Cruises continues to strengthen its position as Bali’s number one marine operator, combining safety, innovation, and hospitality to create unforgettable ocean experiences for visitors from around the world.

Safety remains the cornerstone of all Bali Hai’s operations. The Company’s operating procedures are fully aligned with uncompromising international marine safety regulations and standards through continuous crew training, modern vessel maintenance, and best-practice operational procedures. This long-standing focus has made Bali Hai one of the most trusted and respected marine tourism operators in the region.

Bali Hai Cruises is now in its fourth decade of providing exemplary service while adhering to the highest national and international safety standards, on par with those of the global cruise industry.

Also adding to the overall safety and enjoyment of all Bali Hai Cruise products is the Company’s marine base in South Bali at the Port of Benoa. A safe harbor in every season, the Bali Hai Cruises departing or arriving from the Port of Benoa assure smooth, comfortable sailings even during those few months of the year when Bali is affected by strong offshore winds.
