Kompas.com reports that the national flag carrier Garuda Indonesia will soon recommence a three-time-a-week flight connecting Bali and Japan.
The Indonesian Minister for Tourism and the Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, speaking at his weekly online press briefing on Monday, 19
September 2022, said: “We have coordinated with Garuda Indonesia, who will restart flights between Japan and Bali targeted for November 2022.
Sandiaga said the flights between Japan and Bali would operate thrice weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
The tourism minister quickly urged public members to wait for a formal announcement from Garuda Indonesia, particularly regarding flight schedules and specific destinations in Japan.
The Minister added: “I think a formal announcement will be made by the management of Garuda Indonesia and the Japanese airports serving as the destination in Japan.”
