Bali Ranked ‘2nd Best’ as Global Holiday Destination

The online global travel magazine, Smart Travel Asia, has dubbed Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, as “Asia’s Best Holiday” for 2025 – for the second consecutive year. The honor of Bangkok being named as the world’s best holiday destination is the result of a survey conducted among the publication’s thousands of worldwide travelers and readers.

As also reported by TEMPO.CO, Smart Travel Asia cited Bangkok’s bustling atmosphere and the diversity of experiences the city offers, which include culinary delights, cultural attractions, shopping, and hospitality extended by the Thai people. The publication described the City of Bangkok “as vibrant and colorful, both day and night.”

Bangkok remains a very affordable destination.

Bali Ranked Second-Best

Bali ranked as the “second best” destination in the Smart Travel Asia Survey, a distinction it shares with Tokyo, Japan. Chiang Mai, also in Thailand, won third place in the influential global survey,
