Fast Ferry Bali–Gili/Lombok RT Rp. 275K

Beritabali.com reports that after halting operations because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kapal Cepat Ekaya (Fast Ferry) offers round trip transfers between Padangbai and Pulau Gili-Lombok will resume operations on 31 July 2020.

The Ekajaya Fast Ferry will operate three round trips a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. 

During the initial recommencement of fast ferry services, Ekajaya Fast Ferry is offering special prices to passengers holding Bali IDs (KTP Bali)Lombok IDs (KTP Lombok), and foreign nationals holding a temporary stay permit (KITAS). 

Ketut Sugita, general manager of Ekajaya Fast Ferry, said that he hopes the resumption of services will help restart tourism in Bali, the Gili Islands, and Lombok in the “new normal era.”

During the special promotion period, ticket prices start from as little as Rp. 275,000 per person round trip from Bali to Gili/Lombok.

Sugita confirmed that health and social distancing protocols are in effect on the fast ferry service, including the use of face masks, handwashing, hand sanitizing, and distanced seating configurations. In addition, the ferry will be disinfected after each trip.

Enclosed air-conditioned or open-air seating is available on all trips.
