The 18th Edition of the UK Post Office Travel Money Holiday Money Report, a globally recognized authority, has published its 2024 list of best-value destinations worldwide. Among these, the Kuta Beach area of Bali, a place of international acclaim, ranks 8th.
Bali and Egypt were among the top 10 “cheapest” destinations. Kuta ranked eighth, with prices down 6.7 percent compared to last year.
The Post Office Travel Money Holiday Money Report is a popular guide for UK travelers paying for their travel with UK Pounds. The report said that in 25 of 40 destinations reviewed in the survey, UK travelers can expect to pay less for their holiday in 2024.
In all, 90% of the most popular foreign currencies encountered by UK holidaymakers are now weaker than a year ago. In relative terms, prices have fallen in many long-haul popular tourism destinations.
While local prices rose in 4 out of 5 destinations surveyed by the UK Post Office, when these prices were converted against a strengthened Pound Sterling, the cost to UK travelers experienced net lower prices than a year ago in 19 long-haul destinations and six European ones.
Reassuringly, the UK Post Office predicts that over half of all Britons will travel in 2024, with 60% already booked for a trip. These popular destinations are sure to provide a memorable holiday experience.
According to the report, the 15 cheapest holidays for UK nationals spending Pound Sterling were:

- Mombasa, Kenya
- Tokyo, Jepang
- Algarve, Portugal
- Sharm el-Sheikh, Mesir
- Sunny Beach, Bulgaria
- Kuta, Bali
- Marmaris, Turki
- Paphos, Cyprus
- Penang, Malaysia (baru)
- Phuket, Thailand
- Delhi, India (baru)
- Costa del Sol, Spanyol
- Teluk Montego, Jamaika
