New Bali Flights to Kupang, China, & India

Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport will open two new air routes on 16 and 17 December 2023. Air Asia will connect Denpasar, Bali, and Kupang on the island of Timor in Nusa Tenggara Timor (NTT). Meanwhile, Xiamen Air will fly between Bali and Fuzhou, China. 

The general manager of PT Angkasa Pura I, Iwan Novi, told detik.com, “For December 2023, plans are to add one new domestic and one international air route.”

Inbound Approach for Runway 27 at Bali Airport

Every new air route increases the island’s connectivity to the world and the financial viability of its international airport.

Iwan continued, saying Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport now serves 19 domestic destinations using 11 airlines. There are 36 international destinations connected to Bali by 37 airlines.

India Now Connected to Bali

The inaugural direct flight connecting New Delhi, India, and Bali by Vistara landed in Bali on Friday, 01 December 2023.

A Vistara Airbus A321LR aircraft, Flight Number UK145, carrying 185 passengers,, arrived at 10:52 a.m. after originating from the Indira Gandhi Airport in New Delhi.
