Ferry Rates E. Java to W. Bali Increase 11%

After some delay, The Ministry of Transportation announced a hike on inter-island ferry fees between East Java and Bali’s Port of Gilimanuk to take effect on Saturday, 01 October 2022.

PT ASDP – the State-owned port authority that operates from the Katapang Port in East Java- announced that the tariff for the cross-strait ferry crossing has increased by 11%.

The ASDP general manager in Ketapang, Muhammad Yasin, confirmed the new tariff, as quoted by NusaBali.com.

The increased ferry crossing tariff follows a recent nationwide 11% in fuel costs.

The New Ferry Rates between Katapang (East Java) and Gilimanuk, West Bali.

Pedestrian passengers

  • – Adult to pay Rp. 9,650 an increase of Rp. 1,150 from the old rate of Rp. 8,500.
  • – Babies to pay Rp. 1,700, a decrease from the old rate of Rp. 2,200.

Vehicular Traffic

  • – Two-wheeled bicycles to pay Rp. 10,500 an increase from the old rate of Rp.9,000.
  • – Motorcycles under 500 cc to pay 29,050 an increase from the old rate of Rp. 27,9000.
  • – Motorcycles above 500cc to pay Rp. 42,500 an increase from the old rate of Ro. 39,000.
  • – Passenger vehicles with a length of less than 5 meters to pay Rp. 199,850 an increase from the old rate of Rp. 182,500.
  • – Goods vehicles with a length of less than 5 meters to pay Rp. 172,150 an increase from the old rate of Rp. 158,000.
  • – Passenger vehicles of a length of between 5 and 7 meters pay Rp. 392,000 an increase from the old rate of Rp. 355,000.
  • – Goods vehicles with a length of between 5 and 7 meters to pay Rp. 291,650 an increase from the old rate of Rp. 268,000.
  • – Passenger vehicles measuring between 7 and 10 meters to pay Rp. 593,350 an increase from the old rate of Rp. 535,000.
  • – Goods vehicles measuring between 7 and 10 meters to pay Rp. 484,900 an increase from the old rate of Rp. 447,000.
  • – Vehicles measuring between 10 and 12 meters to pay Rp. 598,500 an increase from the old rate of Rp. 553,000.
  • – Vehicles with a length of 12-16 meters to pay Rp. 843,100 an increase from the old rate of Rp. 792,000.
  • – Vehicles with a length of more than 16 meters to pay Rp. 1,167,650 an increase from the old rate of Rp. 1,112,000.
